About Me

My name is Tom Hemmen. I’ve been a business and IT Functional Analyst since dinosaurs walked the earth, but this hardly sums up the many facets of my talent and experience. I am also an awesome Dungeon Master with an abiding passion for Dungeons & Dragons campaigns with deeply realized worlds, memorable Non-Player Characters, and compelling, interwoven stories. I enjoy building specialty decks for Magic the Gathering, and have occasionally participated in fan-made Mansions of Madness game scenario projects — bringing the stories to life with wordpainting, playtesting, and/or consulting on game mechanics.

When not avidly gaming in my discretionary time, I have also been known to write reviews for over-the-top theme bars, and design immersive themed events for non-profit charitable causes (or just for fun).

Occasionally I turn out a short story just for the heck of it too — usually to bring content and depth to a Role-Playing Game campaign.

Be sure to check out my work below, and reach out if you are interested in working together or seeing more!
