Event Co-Designer for the University of Washington’s Experimental Education Unit’s Endowment for Children with Disabilities
Contributed hundreds of hours annually for six years to the UW’s Experimental Education Unit (EEU) Endowment for Children with Disabilities Auction. One of Seattle’s premier philanthropic events, each EEU auction entertained approximately 600 guests.
My activities as Co-Designer included event theme development, original set design and construction, event music playlist creation, outfitting the acting talent, coordination of volunteer resources, and designing, organizing, and running the specialty bar greeting area.
During the years of my participation, the auction earned, on average, roughly $100K/event more than it had previously, with our record year — the pirate-themed “Treasures” auction — earning approximately $750K.
